The 7x20 utility trailer
The specs
Seven by twenty feet of open deck with a 12-inch rail all the way around, and about a two-ton limit on what you load. Aluminum ramps, straps, and a storage box come with it, so you can roll equipment on and tie it down without bringing your own gear. You’ll need a 2-inch ball and a vehicle with a brake controller.
What goes in it
Mowers, furniture, appliances, lumber, brush, and anything too long or too awkward for a dump trailer. Long and bulky loads are where this one shines. For dirt, gravel, or mulch, the dump trailer is the better fit, since you’d be unloading this one by hand.
Delivered or pick it up
Tow it yourself if you have the truck for it. Or we’ll drop it in your driveway and pick it up when you’re done, either one or both.
Load up Earl
Pick what you’re bringing and see how it all fits on his 20-foot deck. Long, bulky loads usually run out of room before they run out of weight.
What's allowed
Household junk, furniture, yard debris, roofing tear-off, deck demo, siding, remodel debris, brush. Basically anything that won't damage the trailer.
Not allowed: concrete, brick, block, paint, chemicals, fuel, anything with asbestos, or anything that needs a hazmat placard.
Not sure your truck can pull it?
A loaded trailer tows a lot differently than an empty one, and Earl’s 20-foot deck makes length matter just as much as weight. Put in your tow rating and we’ll tell you straight.
If the answer is no, that's fine. That's what delivery is for.
