The 6x10 dump trailer

The specs

Six by ten feet with 26-inch sides, and a three-ton limit on what you load in it. Small enough to sit in a normal driveway or fit through a gate. The rear gate swings open like barn doors for loading, or latches at the top to spread gravel and mulch in a layer as you pull forward.

What goes in it

Dirt, gravel, sod, mulch, brush, roof tear-offs, demolition debris, and whatever came out of the garage. Heavy material hits the weight limit before the bed is full. Light material fills the bed long before weight matters.

Delivered or pick it up

Tow it yourself if you have the truck for it. Or we’ll drop it in your driveway and pick it up when you’re done, either one or both. Want us to haul the load away too? We can take most loads, and yard waste is the main thing we can’t. If you tow it yourself, you handle the disposal.

Will it fit in one load?

Most people guess by volume and get surprised by weight. A cubic yard of dirt weighs over a ton, so you hit the weight limit with room still left in the bed. Mulch and brush go the other way, filling the bed long before weight becomes a problem. Pick what you're hauling and slide to your amount.

What can you put in it?

If you're hauling it yourself

Household junk, furniture, yard debris, roofing tear-off, deck demo, siding, remodel debris, brush. Basically anything that won't damage the trailer.

Not allowed: concrete, brick, block, paint, chemicals, fuel, anything with asbestos, or anything that needs a hazmat placard.

If we're hauling it away

Household junk, recyclables, and most construction debris. Furniture, couches, mattresses, chairs, desks, general cleanout material, roofing tear-off, drywall, and demo wood.

Disposal facilities won't take everything. Yard waste, tires, appliances, electronics, and paint all have separate rules. Tell us what's in the pile and we'll tell you straight up whether we can take it.

Not sure your truck can pull it?

A loaded dump trailer is a different animal than an empty one. Plenty of half-tons handle this one fine empty and are over their rating full. Put in your tow rating and we'll tell you straight.

If the answer is no, that's fine. That's what delivery is for.
